About the job

As a Field Marketing Manager you are responsible for driving demand through field programs to meet or exceed revenue goals for the region’s sales teams.

You will develop and drive targeted marketing programs to generate awareness, quality pipeline, move prospects through the sales cycle and help to build a customer relationship.

This position supports the European sales team. You will collaborate closely with SHOWA’s sales, sales development, and the marketing team to plan and execute. This field-based position requires some experience across verticals, as well as tradeshows planning and execution.
In addition, you must successfully collaborate with a variety of individuals and teams as well as manage numerous projects simultaneously, in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate is a highly organised self-starter with a natural curiosity to learn and explore.

Please note that you need to come to the office every day.

Roles & Responsibilities

Research, plan and maintain the SHOWA online calendar of events including 3rd party industry conferences, SHOWA-driven virtual and physical event series, and regional hospitality field events.

  • Educate the sales team and sales development reps on new and existing marketing activities being performed
  • Own and drive logistics and execution of all planned events; help shape event themes, work with outside vendors, oversee fulfilment/inventory levels, manage events’ sales staffing
  • Support SHOWA’s demand generation and sales goals through regional field and industry events
  • Create well thought out campaigns & activities to support strategic accounts and drive pipeline for sales
  • Collaborate with the alliances’ organization on SHOWA’s strategic sponsorships and go-to-market execution plan at partner events
  • Maintain direct alignment with sales team in terms of all pre and post-event communication, marketing-driven campaigns, and event promotion strategy
  • Evaluate all regional campaigns’ impact and ROI to determine the success and forecast for potential future investment
  • Identify the most effective marketing materials, channels, and messaging for key accounts

Education & Competences

  • 5+ years of proven multi-channel B2B marketing experience within industry
  • Experience in Salesforce, Pardot, Excel, WordPress
  • High proficiency with office productivity applications (e.g. Microsoft Office, Google Apps)
  • Experience in social media and content creation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English. Professional efficiency with another language such as Spanish, German or French is a big plus
  • Experience building and delivering field marketing campaigns, events, executive and account-based marketing programs, and partner activity.
  • Strong project management, time management, and execution skills
  • Embodies strong organizational skills, ability to anticipate the needs of sales
  • Ability to maintain an optimistic, approachable, and self-starter attitude
  • Demonstrates creative spark as expressed in ideas for messaging, creative design, etc.
  • Ability to travel frequently as needed to support in-person events
  • You are willing to come to the office 5 days per week
